The Bush Swift is one of my all time favorite tomatoes to grow down here in Tassie. It’s a medium round, bright red fruit that ripens quickly (within 55 days on the packet!) so ideal for our short summers. It yields a pretty decent number for a bush plant too, so be prepared for a glut if you’re planting a few of these. Great rich flavour that’s good for a tomato sauce or just raw on a slice of crusty bread. Perfect sandwich size too! Low maintenance but does better if it’s given some support. Staking is recommended as it can weigh heavily under the load of fruit. Great in pots too but keep the water up to them on the hot days or they’ll wilt easily.
