The Cherry Roma is a small oval shaped cherry tomato much the same shape as a Roma tomato but smaller. The vigorous growing vine will quickly overtake any area where you plant it, but produces a LOT of these small gems over a short period so get ready for a lot of salads. This is not a bush variety like the Roma though, but since the tomatoes are small, I like to grow them in pots or hanging baskets. Just be sure to keep the water up to them since they do grow quickly and sometimes quite large. The fruit tastes sweet with a bit of tang. Great for salads, eaten individually or sliced and dried to form a great tasting snack.
