Previously known as “Sprint” – a tomato variety originating in Russia, these small round and sweet red fruit are a tidy little producer which ripens extra early at a stunning 59 days. About equal to the Bush Swift variety, this plant is indeterminate (climbing) so I’d expect to see a longer season with a more steady and probably larger yield over the season even though the plant is said to have a stocky/tight growth pattern. Disease & cold resistance add some well respected advantages for this type. The fruit is medium, round and red, and the plant has the “potato-leaf” style of foliage. Looking forward to getting a lot of produce from this little beauty this year.
